Game of Thrones is more popular than ever, especially among famous people who both have and have not guest-starred on the show. You can now add Kate Middleton and Prince William to the list of GoT superfans, because according to the actor who plays Jaqen H’ghar, they’re so into the show that they asked him for spoilers during a visit to Berlin. “They said they really liked Game of Thrones and have watched every [season],” Tom Wlaschiha told the Daily Mail. “They wanted spoilers but I said I couldn’t tell them. I’m surprised they have time to watch such a long-running series.” In their defense, they do spend a lot of time on planes, and if Barack Obama had time to watch, then surely they do.
Tom’s character Jaqen has not yet appeared on season seven of GoT, presumably because he’s still in Braavos while his former assassin trainee Arya Stark is back in Westeros. It remains to be seen whether or not he’ll return to the show, but remember too that he could show up in a different form — as a Faceless Man, he could take on the guise of someone else and surprise the seven hells out of everybody, just as Arya did at the Twins in the season premiere. Now please, someone find out which team Kate supports for the Great War. My money’s on Daenerys.
